Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic and neuro experience for a day-shift position in a Massachusetts outpatient rehabilitation clinic.
Responsibilities
- Work in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic providing both OT and PT services
- Day shift; Monday, Wednesday 9:00am-5:30pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- No weekend or major holiday shifts required
- Treat a diverse patient population with a focus on orthopedic diagnoses and some neurological cases
- Therapists typically see 10-12 patients per day
- The department goal for productivity is 65%
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive therapy team
- No weekend or major holiday coverage expectations
- Monthly parking fees may apply and information can be found through the local parking office
- Must be comfortable working with a diverse patient population
Requirements
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient orthopedic and neuro setting
- BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital preferred
- Strong communication, motivation, flexibility, and time management skills
- Two professional references are required, with at least one from a manager and performance evaluations included; one must be from within the last 12 months
