Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring EPIC proficiency and flexibility to float to Post-Partum.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment
• Care for laboring mothers, including management of C-Sections and Magnesium Sulfate drips
• Required to float to Post-Partum unit as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Floating to other units within the hospital may be required
• Return staff must have at least one year away for consideration
• Limited to 5 days or less of requested time off for the duration of the assignment
• Scrub or dress code details not specified
• Initial orientation includes completion of required modules

Requirements

• Active WA or Compact RN license required and must be in hand
• Minimum of 3 years Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience with Magnesium Drips and C-Sections required
• AHA certifications required
• Must provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
• Must be flexible with scheduling; block schedules are not permitted
