Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro IR and scrub experience for a 13-week day shift assignment, requiring on-call availability and licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an interventional radiology unit specializing in neuro IR procedures
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with required on-call duties and a 30-minute response time
• Scrub experience is required as part of the procedural team
• Patient population includes complex neuro cases
• Emergency team assignments may be required during facility-wide events
• Floating and additional unit assignments as directed by management
• Participation on the emergency team or relief team may be required in the event of an emergency
• Orientation is provided and held five days a week with required completion of modules
• Candidates with previous permanent or in-house contract roles at this facility must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler
• No local travelers accepted
• Return to work and time-off requests must be discussed during the interview process

Requirements

• Current Allied Health license or ability to obtain one (must apply within 72 hours of accepting offer)
• At least 1 year of neuro IR and scrub experience required; 2 years total experience preferred
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must live at least 65 miles from the facility
• Ability to take on-call with a 30-minute response time
• References from two prior managers or supervisors required for contract clearance
• License required if applicable
