Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and proficiency with GE Revolution EVO and VCT Scanners.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma designation
• Work in the CT department with a night shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• No floating required to other departments
• Average of 100-120 CT exams performed daily in a 24-hour period
• Uses GE Revolution EVO Scanner, GE VCT Scanner, Cerner EMR, and Mach7 PACS system
• Call is not required but may be picked up if desired by the traveler
• Orientation is held weekly on Monday
• First-time travelers are welcome, though some travel experience is preferred
• Black scrubs are required for this position
• Modules are completed during orientation and annually, organized by specialty
• Parking lot is available for travelers at no charge
• No restrictions on requested time off; requests may be discussed during interview

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience with GE Revolution EVO and VCT Scanners required
• License required if applicable; must be active and in-hand to start assignment
• Two professional references needed for consideration
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
