Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Acute Neuro Unit requiring a GA or compact state license and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an Acute Neuro Unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes acute neurological and general medical/surgical cases
• 12-hour night shifts with a 3 shifts per week schedule
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before eligibility
• First-time travelers are accepted
• All RTO (requested time off) must be submitted upfront
• Supportive team environment with both staff and other travel RNs
• Scrub requirements and dress code will be provided upon offer

Requirements

• Active GA or compact state RN license required
• Current BLS and NIH certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the relevant specialty
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
