Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med-Surg/Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring an active WA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital on a Med-Surg/PCU unit
• Adult med-surg and progressive care patient population
• Night shift schedule
• Flexibility to work in multiple departments as needed
• Provide patient education and ensure patient safety following facility protocols
• Implement infection control and isolation procedures with appropriate documentation
• Maintain accurate, concise documentation of patient status, interventions, and responses
• Complete change of shift reports and communicate accurately with other departments
• Responsible for maintaining and restocking emergency carts and general supplies
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified

Requirements

• Active WA or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience in med-surg and PCU settings
• Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
• Experience with safe operation and troubleshooting of equipment in PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg areas
