Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT/R), and BLS certifications for a 4-night, 10-hour shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
• Work in a hospital CT department
• Performs CT scans, CTA work, portable X-ray, and X-ray procedures per protocol
• Uses Altera EMR and McKesson/Change PACS
• Travelers may be required to float to other units within their scope
• First-time travelers are welcome at the same rate as local candidates
• Must be clean-shaven to pass the Fit Test for mask fit compliance
• Men with facial hair unable to pass Fit Test will not be accepted
• Time off requests (RTO) must be submitted up front; additional time off will not be approved
• No schedule or block scheduling requests will be accommodated
• Return travelers should communicate prior employment for staffing review

Requirements

• Active ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• IV competency and experience with CTA procedures required
• Experience with X-ray portable and protocol-based X-ray procedures required
• Recent experience with Epic EMR within the last 12 months and ability to pass an Epic competency exam
• Valid state license required if applicable (Compact or TN)
• Two professional references needed for consideration
