Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Emergency Department position requiring a GA or compact RN license and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a general Emergency Department setting at a hospital
• Average daily census of approximately 113 patients
• Schedule is 12-hour day shifts from 7am-7pm with coverage across all days of the week
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• ECC Certification and Stroke Center Certification are present within the department
• Royal blue scrubs are required for this position
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application and cannot be requested after offer
• Returning permanent staff seeking travel positions must have a 2-year break before returning
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH are required
• TNCC certification is preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
