Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for inpatient night shifts requiring ARRT(R), trauma experience, and EPIC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospital setting within the CT Scan department
• Weekend night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 5:00pm-5:30am
• Work with a diverse patient population including trauma, stroke, and code aorta cases across neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric ages
• Use of in-house CT scanning and contrast injection equipment
• EMR system is EPIC; training provided during orientation or may test out
• Floating may be required within competency level to meet organizational needs
• Must administer IV contrast materials under radiologist direction and coordinate ER, inpatient, and outpatient workflow
• Role requires responding to rapidly changing patient volumes and prioritizing advanced imaging procedures
• Two major holidays coverage required per assignment
• May be required to pick up one extra shift during a schedule period
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• 13-week break required for returning travelers after completing a contract
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• RTO must be included at time of application; no extension for RTO at contract end
• Scrubs or dress code information not specified

Requirements

• Active ARRT(R) required upon start and ARRT(CT) registry required within 12 months if applicable
• Current State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a CT Technologist, including trauma care and travel experience
• Proficiency with contrast injection equipment and EPIC charting is required
• Ability to care for patient populations from neonatal through geriatric
