Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a night shift travel contract at an acute care hospital in Atlanta, GA, with a minimum of 1 year of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Acute care hospital radiology/X-ray department
- 4x10-hour night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call required
- Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
- 16-week contract
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates are accepted
- RTO is capped at 7 days and cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for at least one full year before returning as a traveler
- No schedule change requests or alternate shift requests are permitted — the posted shift is firm
- The shift and contract length must be confirmed prior to consideration
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience required
- Active professional licensure required at time of consideration, if applicable
- Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
