Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with experience in general ultrasound including abdomen, OBGYN, and vascular cases; BLS certification and MA license required if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Work in an ultrasonography unit performing exams such as abdomen, OBGYN, small parts, abdominal vascular, lower extremity venous for DVT, and follicular scans
- NICU and OR experience is a plus
- Utilizes GE Logiq E10 and E9 and GE Voluson ultrasound equipment
- Work schedule is Monday to Wednesday, 6:30 pm to 7:00 am
- EPIC charting system is used
- Responsibilities include performing a wide range of ultrasound studies for general, vascular, and OB/GYN indications
- Must be able to work independently during night shifts
- Parking is not validated at Boston locations and daily rates apply
- Timekeeping is managed with UKG/Kronos system
- Two professional references are required for consideration
Requirements
- Active MA Sonographer license required if applicable; conditional licenses not accepted
- BLS certification from AHA required
- Primary source verification of professional license and certifications within 30 days of start and prior to expiration
- No minimum years of experience required
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions permitted
- Local candidates must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from Boston
