Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring EPIC EMR and at least 2 years of recent medical surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Surgical Specialty Unit with a medical surgical patient population
• Primarily day shifts with occasional night shifts required
• Four 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Mandatory weekly orientation takes place every Monday
• Must provide a completed skills checklist specific to medical surgical nursing
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the rotation
• A recent supervisory reference within the last 24 months is preferred

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience required
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Driver’s license required for consideration
