Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedic unit, requiring a NY RN license and strong acute care background.

Responsibilities

Medical-Surgical Orthopedic Unit in a hospital setting
140-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-6 for day and evening shifts, and 1:5-6 at night
Fast-paced orthopedic focus with additional Med/Surg overflow
Uses EPIC for charting
Any color scrubs may be worn as the dress code
Work in a busy environment providing care to orthopedic and overflow Med/Surg patients

Requirements

Active and clear NY RN license required
Current BLS certification required
At least 3 years of acute care Med/Surg nursing experience required
Orthopedic experience required
