Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedic unit, requiring a NY RN license and strong acute care background.
Responsibilities
- Medical-Surgical Orthopedic Unit in a hospital setting
- 140-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-6 for day and evening shifts, and 1:5-6 at night
- Fast-paced orthopedic focus with additional Med/Surg overflow
- Uses EPIC for charting
- Any color scrubs may be worn as the dress code
- Work in a busy environment providing care to orthopedic and overflow Med/Surg patients
Requirements
- Active and clear NY RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- At least 3 years of acute care Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Orthopedic experience required
