Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab and interventional radiology experience, ACLS/BLS/RCIS certification, and strong procedural skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab setting
• Adult patient population requiring advanced cardiac and vascular procedures
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend shifts are required as part of the schedule
• On-call required 9-13 days within a 6-week period, with weekday call from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM and weekend call from Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
• No floating to other units or facilities required
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• Responsibilities include performing and assisting with advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
• Must be prepared to work some holidays and weekends as needed
• Single request for time off can be accommodated, must be noted at time of offer
• Annual and orientation modules must be completed via Relias/Net Learning portal
• After one year, travelers must take a 90-day break before returning as a traveler
• Former permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during orientation

Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• RCIS certification with interventional radiology tech experience required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a cath lab and IR setting
• License required if applicable
• Pending state licenses are not accepted
• Two professional references required for consideration
