Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU position in Washington with a minimum of three years NICU experience and the ability to float to childbirth units.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:45 to 07:15
• Floating to childbirth center units is required
• Uses Epic charting system with prior experience required
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Modules will be completed during orientation and are signed off by managers
• A maximum of five days of requested time off will be accepted per assignment
• No blocked schedules are allowed
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Travel pairs are accepted for this assignment

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 3 years of recent NICU experience
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required, 2 years preferred
• Current BLS and NRP certifications (AHA required)
• Prior Epic EMR experience is required
• Must be willing and able to float as needed
• Must not have been employed at the facility within the past year
