Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU Day Shift position requiring a WA or compact license, 3 years of NICU experience, and EPIC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Float to Childbirth Center units as needed
• Patient care is documentation through the EPIC charting system; prior EPIC experience required
• Candidates may be required to float within hospital units
• Attend required modules as part of orientation during the first 24 hours
• No blocked scheduling requests accepted
• Up to 5 days of requested time off permitted per assignment
• Must have not been employed at the facility within the past year for consideration
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license must be in hand for consideration
• Minimum 3 years of NICU RN experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current American Heart Association certifications for BLS and NRP required
• EPIC charting proficiency required
