Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/IR Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and RCIS certification for a day shift contract assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab
• Adult patient population
• 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend work is required as part of the schedule
• On-call coverage required for 9-13 days in a 6 week period, with call hours from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays and 5:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday on weekends
• Float to other units is not required
• Local candidates who live within 50 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends as part of the regular rotation
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Maximum of one time-off request may be approved
• Orientation and annual modules are required
• Former travelers must wait 90 days after a year-long assignment before returning
• Former perm employees are eligible after being away for at least one year
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Modules completed through Relias/Net Learning portal

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications
• IR Tech experience required
• State license required if applicable
• Strong clinical skills in cath procedures and interventional radiology
