Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in Texas, requiring ACLS, BLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
  • Rotates through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition areas (excludes postpartum)
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
  • Minimum 13-week contract considered
  • Uses Cerner for charting; Cerner experience preferred
  • Holiday coverage is expected
  • Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
  • On-site drug screening covering multiple panels is required prior to assignment
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Must be available for scheduling during assigned holidays

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required before start; pending license accepted for consideration
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and NRP certifications required
  • Must provide two supervisory references from the last three years
  • Submission of required certifications and license verification
  • Supervisory profile and skills checklist required
