Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a day shift, requiring ARRT certification and experience in screening and diagnostic mammography.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a dedicated mammography unit
• Performs both screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Day shift schedule, 40 hours per week from 8:00am to 4:30pm
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsible for performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• May be required to pass Tele/ECG and medication test depending on assignment location
• A 6-month break is required for any returning employees or travelers from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
• Candidates must comply with vaccine requirements unless they have a valid medical exemption

Requirements

• Active MA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• ARRT certification is required
• MA Radiologic Technologist certification is required
• 1-2 years of mammography experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification is required
• Proof of flu vaccination required
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)
• Cannot have worked in any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the past 6 months
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; locals considered on a case by case basis
