Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist experienced in 3D mammography for a 26-week outpatient mobile ultrasound assignment.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient mobile ultrasound setting with standard mammography procedures
- Utilizes a 3D mammography machine
- Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Shift length can be 8 or 10 hours, to be discussed during interview
- Primarily walk-in patients
- Responsibilities include performing standard mammography on a 3D machine in a mobile outpatient environment
- Testing may include tele/ECG and medication tests if assigned to certain campuses
- Parking is free for employees at this outpatient location
- No local candidates allowed within 50 miles, except on a case-by-case basis for hard-to-fill positions
- Time-off requests and interview availability must be discussed during the interview process
Requirements
- Current MA license in hand if applicable (License required if applicable)
- Mammography Technologist certification
- Experience operating 3D mammography equipment required
- Additional experience with DEXA and X-ray is a bonus, but not required
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster, as well as annual flu vaccination, are required unless medically exempt
- All previous employees (travel, perm, per diem) must be separated from BILH facilities for at least 6 months
