Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist experienced with standard 3D mammography for an outpatient, mobile ultrasound unit assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an outpatient, walk-in mobile ultrasound unit
- Standard mammography procedures performed using a 3D machine
- Monday through Friday day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No call or weekend shifts required
- Options for 8 or 10 hour shifts may be discussed during interview
- Will perform diagnostic and screening mammography in an outpatient, walk-in setting
- Free parking is provided for employees
- Pass/fail testing for Tele/ECG and Medication Test may be required at specific campuses
- Scrub attire required as per department policy
- Returning employees must be in good standing to be eligible
Requirements
- Current MA license required if applicable
- Experience performing standard mammography on a 3D machine required
- DEXA and x-ray tech experience is a plus but not required
- COVID-19 vaccine, booster, and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Must not have worked at the facility or related health system in any capacity during the past 6 months to be eligible
- Radius rule applies; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility unless otherwise considered
