Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices and neuro procedures.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit
- Work involves procedures such as TIPS, angioplasty, and thrombectomy for PE/stroke
- Extensive use of GE and Siemens equipment
- Responsibilities include both scrub and circulator roles
- Day shifts are 10 hours in length with weekend and on-call coverage required
- Candidates must be able to work independently in IR procedure rooms and take call for trauma cases
- Must pass Tele/ECG and medication test (specific to some campuses)
- Weekly orientation sessions held every Monday, except on holidays
- RTO (requested time off) must be presented at time of consideration
- A 6-month break is required for any previous employees before being eligible for consideration
- Parking may cost up to $43 per day
- No locals are accepted within a 50-mile radius unless approved on a case-by-case basis
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology required
- MA Radiology License required if applicable
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- RT ARRT registration required
- Strong neuro interventional experience highly preferred
- Proficient with GE and Siemens equipment
- Scrub and circulator experience necessary
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge required
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
