Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices and neuro procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit
• Work involves procedures such as TIPS, angioplasty, and thrombectomy for PE/stroke
• Extensive use of GE and Siemens equipment
• Responsibilities include both scrub and circulator roles
• Day shifts are 10 hours in length with weekend and on-call coverage required
• Candidates must be able to work independently in IR procedure rooms and take call for trauma cases
• Must pass Tele/ECG and medication test (specific to some campuses)
• Weekly orientation sessions held every Monday, except on holidays
• RTO (requested time off) must be presented at time of consideration
• A 6-month break is required for any previous employees before being eligible for consideration
• Parking may cost up to $43 per day
• No locals are accepted within a 50-mile radius unless approved on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology required
• MA Radiology License required if applicable
• Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
• RT ARRT registration required
• Strong neuro interventional experience highly preferred
• Proficient with GE and Siemens equipment
• Scrub and circulator experience necessary
• Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge required
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
