Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Radiologic Technologist with active Oregon license, ARRT certification, and strong procedural imaging skills.

Details

  • Work in an interventional radiology/cardiology department within a hospital setting
  • Supports diagnostic and interventional procedures with advanced fluoroscopic imaging
  • Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Day shift schedule from 09:00 to 17:30
  • Involves use of fixed fluoroscopy equipment, portable ultrasound, and IVUS

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI required if applicable
  • Active ARRT certification and RT(R)
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS required or obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in interventional radiology and/or cath lab managing fluoroscopy and scrubbing interventional cases
  • Ability to provide care addressing patients' age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial needs
  • Bilingual or English-Spanish speaking skills preferred

Additional Information

  • Responsible for technical operation of fluoroscopic imaging, sterile technique, and procedural workflow coordination
  • Maintains advanced technical competence in procedural imaging, radiation safety, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Adheres to departmental protocols and regulatory standards while providing safe, high-quality patient care
  • Works closely with a supportive team under the direction of the Unit Manager and Surgical Services Director
  • No COVID-19 vaccination required
