Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) with Oregon license, ARRT certification, and advanced procedural skills for interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.

Details

• Work in an interventional radiology/cardiology setting
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures using fluoroscopic imaging equipment
• Shift is 06:30-15:00
• Utilize fixed fluoroscopy equipment, portable ultrasound, and IVUS
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team for patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI required
• Active ARRT certification and RT(R) designation required
• Current BLS required
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• Minimum 1 year experience in interventional radiology and/or cath lab managing fluoroscopy and scrubbing interventional cases
• Ability to provide age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial patient care
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Support diagnostic and interventional procedures using advanced imaging and sterile techniques
• Demonstrate competence in radiation safety, sterile field maintenance, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Adhere to departmental protocols and regulatory standards
• Preferred qualifications include a BS in Radiologic Science or Medical Imaging and 3 years in interventional radiology or cath lab experience
• Certifications such as RCIS or NIH Stroke Scale are preferred
• Bilingual or English-Spanish speaking ability preferred
