Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN with at least 1 year of critical care, emergency, cath lab, or IR experience and active Oregon RN license for a hospital-based day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital interventional radiology and cardiology setting
- Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
- Role involves care for patients undergoing interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, and cardiac catheterization
- May require call coverage for the interventional unit
- Utilizes equipment including infusion pumps, PCA pumps, and standard medical devices
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients during minimally invasive interventional procedures
- Responsible for patient advocacy and supervision of assigned personnel
- Works collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Ability to care for a diverse patient population and adapt care to age-specific and cultural needs
- Bilingual or English-Spanish speaking candidates preferred
- Standard hospital attire and orientation requirements apply
Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of Oregon
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Experience with conscious sedation and monitoring roles preferred
- Certifications such as RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale, or IV certification preferred
- License required if applicable
