Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN with at least 1 year of critical care, emergency, cath lab, or IR experience and active Oregon RN license for a hospital-based day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital interventional radiology and cardiology setting
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
• Role involves care for patients undergoing interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, and cardiac catheterization
• May require call coverage for the interventional unit
• Utilizes equipment including infusion pumps, PCA pumps, and standard medical devices
• Provide specialized nursing care for patients during minimally invasive interventional procedures
• Responsible for patient advocacy and supervision of assigned personnel
• Works collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Ability to care for a diverse patient population and adapt care to age-specific and cultural needs
• Bilingual or English-Spanish speaking candidates preferred
• Standard hospital attire and orientation requirements apply

Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of Oregon
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Experience with conscious sedation and monitoring roles preferred
• Certifications such as RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale, or IV certification preferred
• License required if applicable
