Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level I Emergency Department position requiring Cerner proficiency and evening shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level I Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Evening shift hours are 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1
• Weekend work required: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Floating within scope may be required as needed
• Experience with Cerner EMR system is required
• First-time travelers may be considered based on prior experience
• Holiday coverage is expected during assignment
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted during the interview process for approval
• Orientation modules are required and completed onsite during onboarding
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Local candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to qualify

Requirements

• Active RN license from TN or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS and PALS
• Cerner EMR experience required
• No pending licenses accepted; current valid license must be in hand at time of consideration
