Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with Cerner experience and on-call flexibility for a hospital-based day shift position in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab unit
• Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 6:00am to 2:30pm
• On-call required Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 6:00am, average 10 days per month
• Weekend coverage consists of on-call shifts based on staffing
• Responsible for circulating and performing hemodynamic recording/charting
• Uses Cerner EMR; experience preferred
• Be prepared to work some holidays as needed
• On-site drug screening is required before assignment
• Time off (RTO) must be requested up front
• Facility does not accept local candidates within the 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required prior to start; pending license considered for application
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Cath Lab circulation and hemodynamic recording necessary
• Cerner EMR charting experience preferred
• Must provide two recent supervisory references within the last three years
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius to be eligible for consideration
