Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in New York requiring 2 years of recent OR experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room within a hospital setting
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No blocked scheduling is allowed
- Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience required
- Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
- Flu vaccination required unless a medical exemption is provided by a licensed professional
Additional Information
- Call outs exceeding three occurrences in a 13-week contract may lead to contract termination; makeup shifts are mandatory and must be completed within six weeks
- Time off requests must be submitted with the initial application
- Travelers may only apply to one position at a time and travel pairs are not permitted
- Candidates residing in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties are not eligible
- Competency testing may be required prior to beginning the assignment
