Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and advanced emergency certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am, three shifts per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call requirements
- No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
- Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before applying as travelers
- RTO must be requested at time of application
- First-time travelers considered
- Compliance with hospital credentialing prior to start is mandatory
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the Emergency Department
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
- Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
