Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and advanced emergency certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am, three shifts per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
• Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before applying as travelers
• RTO must be requested at time of application
• First-time travelers considered
• Compliance with hospital credentialing prior to start is mandatory

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the Emergency Department
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
