Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Room position requiring current CA licensure and prior charge experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Room setting
• 18-bed ER with an additional 4-bed fast track unit within the same area
• Night shifts are 12 hours in length
• 13-week assignment duration
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Role includes charge nurse responsibilities in the Emergency Room
• 167-bed hospital with a collaborative team environment
• Fast-paced ER with diverse patient acuity and volume
• No specific guaranteed hours

Requirements

• Active and current CA RN license at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience in an ER setting required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC certification is preferred
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required
• Cannot be considered if previously employed as staff or per diem in this facility
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
