Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with a CA license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Patient population includes adults and pediatrics requiring emergency care
Variable day shifts with 12-hour shifts starting at 0700, 1100, or 1300
Rotating weekend shifts are required
No on-call requirements
Responsible for managing care of assigned ER patients and directing ancillary staff
Collaborate with nursing peers, physicians, and allied support services
Only one holiday off will be approved for requested time off
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

Active CA RN license
Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum of 2 years' recent ER nursing experience
Must have been gone for at least 1 year if previously employed at the facility
Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing the agreement
