Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position with a minimum of 2 years' experience and a valid OK or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 16-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
• Floating may be required to all facilities within a 75-mile radius
• No blocked scheduling requests are permitted
• Maximum of 5 days requested time off allowed per 13-week assignment, with no holidays or blackout dates permitted
• No support for housing expenses is provided with this position
• Travelers must be able to explain any employment gaps of 3 months or more in their work history
• Travelers who fail to report on time or within an hour of shift start without notice may be penalized
• Holiday time off requests and blocked scheduling are not permitted

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Two supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of certifications must be provided
• Must provide a valid driver's license and a utility bill with matching address dated within the last 3 months
• Permanent address must be outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Former permanent staff must be separated from employment with the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible
