Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and NIH Stroke certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a medical floor
- Patient care involves progressive level monitoring and interventions
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment
- No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
- RNs will provide specialized care for patients requiring higher acuity monitoring
- Reference requirement: At least one professional reference must be provided
- First time travelers are accepted unless otherwise noted
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PCU or relevant specialty
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
