Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a compact or AL license and recent specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no mileage restrictions
• Uses Meditech EMR (experience not required for consideration)

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license with no current or past license hits
• At least 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year recent experience in the Emergency Department
• No pending or temporary licenses accepted
• Required to provide references from the past year, license verification, and a current driver’s license for consideration

Additional Information

• Must complete both an online pre-test and on-site test specific to ICU and ED RNs
• Virtual orientation will cover competency-based modules; no HealthStream modules required prior to start
• Timekeeping is managed through Centricity
• All candidates must complete a Cardiac Exam after offer acceptance
