Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a day shift position requiring a VA or compact license, ARRT CI, BLS, and ACLS certification with at least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology department specializing in special procedures and neurovascular cases
• Monday through Friday day shift with 8-hour shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Rotating on-call duties are required
• Patient population includes neurovascular and interventional radiology cases
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Duties include assisting with interventional and neurovascular radiology procedures
• Modules must be completed prior to start and are billable
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• RTO requests will be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis
• Allied candidates may be considered regardless of permanent address, no local RN radius restriction
• No candidates with a history of fit test issues will be considered

Requirements

• VA or compact license required at time of consideration
• Current ARRT CI, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years experience in interventional radiology
• Neurovascular experience preferred
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• No prior license or background hits accepted
• Fit testing required; facility cannot accommodate PAPR and any fit test issues will eliminate candidate from consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required
• License required if applicable
