Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Transplant ICU position requiring at least one year of level one neurology experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neuro Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
• Care for a variety of neurology and transplant patients with complex health issues
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Level 1 neurology experience is required
• No local candidates permitted within a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Responsibilities include monitoring patient responses to interventions, assisting with diagnostic procedures, administering medications, and managing IV infusions and blood products
• Expected to coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Must delegate tasks as needed to support staff and maintain clear documentation
• Holiday coverage may be required based on the unit's schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma or valid multistate compact (eNLC) license
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in neurology or neuro ICU at a level one facility
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Some computer skills are needed
