Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a current Illinois license, Epic experience, and strong skills in OR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Expected to provide support for various surgical specialties and procedures
• Use of DaVinci robotics is highly preferred
• Epic EMR usage is required
• Floating to other areas may be required
• First-time travelers are welcomed for this position
• Returning employees must not have been employed with the client in the past 12 months
• Applicants may be required to work holiday shifts as assigned

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at the time of consideration
• Active or application proof for Iowa RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• A total of 24 months of recent Operating Room experience is required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver’s license required
• Skills checklist specific to Operating Room required
• Supervisory reference from within the last 24 months is preferred
