Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a day shift assignment at a transplant and primary stroke center, requiring at least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital MRI department with focus on MRI and MRA procedures
- Facility is a transplant center and primary stroke center, with a high volume of MRI/MRA cases
- Day shift position with four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Required to take call for one weekend every 6 weeks
- May float within the facility, including to outpatient areas, within scope of practice
- Expected to work major holidays based on the duration of the assignment
- No blocked scheduling allowed
- Returning travelers must have been away from all facilities for at least 1 full year to be eligible
- If unable to return to one facility, must complete a successful assignment elsewhere before rebooking at a new facility location
- Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed (no RTO allowed during first week)
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- Must meet full compliance prior to start; delayed compliance results in a two-week orientation delay
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year MRI Technologist experience required
- Accepts first-time travelers
- Must provide two supervisory references (manager or above) for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Must complete compliance requirements prior to start to avoid delayed orientation
