Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on night shift, requiring a PA or compact RN license and EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift position, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Weekend coverage required, typically every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to all Med/Surg floors and potentially to rehab
• Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
• May care for COVID-19 patients
• Tobacco and fragrance-free work environment
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Requested time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Staff may be floated based on unit need
• Candidates are reviewed by clinical team and manager for fit

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Prior experience with EPIC charting required
• Must be able to work night shifts and every other weekend
