Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN with at least two years of experience, active MD or compact license, and expertise in LDRP settings.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with LDRP model
• Responsible for Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum care, including mother-baby care
• OB surgical recovery (C-section) experience highly preferred
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (18:30 - 07:00)
• On-call hours required based on staffing, typically totaling 16-20 hours per 6-week period
• Opportunities to substitute call with extra weekend and weekday shifts
• Use of Epic EMR required
• Must provide care for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• May be required to float to perform mother-baby duties
• Local candidates within 50 miles are offered a lower pay rate
• Adherence to hospital dress code and policies is required

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum two years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current certifications in NRP, AWHONN, and FHM required
• Experience with LDRP and mother-baby care required
• OB surgical recovery (C-section) experience highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
