Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with Level NICU experience to provide neonatal intensive care during night shifts, requiring a current OK or compact RN license along with BLS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital-based Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Level NICU patient population with diverse and complex health conditions
• Works three 12-hour night shifts per week, 6:45PM to 7:15AM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Responsibilities include providing neonatal nursing care, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, and supporting families with patient care plans
• Tasks delegated to support staff as appropriate
• Must deliver competent care and document patient responses and treatments
• Night shift position with frequent patient and family interaction

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license or current multistate compact RN license required
• BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association are required
• Minimum of one year Level NICU nursing experience required
• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
