Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and BLS for a 13-week assignment at a Level 2 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level 2 trauma center CT Scan department
• Handles exams for trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine cases for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services
• Cares for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Uses Siemens CT scanners
• 3x12 hour evening shifts, Friday to Sunday, 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• No on-call required
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Performs imaging procedures and operates computerized tomography equipment as assigned
• Work involves a variety of patient populations and clinical settings
• No local candidates within 50 miles are eligible
• Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a two-year break before eligibility
• Professional scrubs required
• License required if applicable

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in CT specialty
• Current ARRT-CT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience operating Siemens CT scanners
