Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and experience with all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital radiology department
• Perform X-ray imaging for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
• Schedule includes 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM shifts on Saturday and Sunday, with additional weekday hours to total 40 hours per week
• Every weekend work is required
• No on-call responsibilities during the contract
• Responsible for performing accurate diagnostic X-ray imaging as ordered by physicians
• Must be able to follow physician instructions, prepare and operate radiography equipment, and properly position patients
• Agency provides traveler dosimetry badge for duration of assignment
• Requested time off cannot be accommodated during this assignment
• All required time off requests must be disclosed at the time of application

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Minimum 1 year of travel radiology technologist experience required
• Experience working with newborn, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations required
• Submission of recent work history, relevant skills checklist, and two supervisory references are required for consideration
• License required if applicable
