Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Medical ICU position requiring at least 2 years of pediatric ICU experience, ventilator management, and inotropy skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pediatric Medical ICU at an acute care, Magnet-designated, Level I trauma facility
- Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients requiring advanced ICU care
- Options for straight night or straight day shifts with a strong weekend commitment
- No on-call is required
- Floating may be required to CICU, MSICU, and NICU within scope
- Charting is done using Epic EMR
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- Solid color scrubs are required in all units
- Work in a Level III/IV NICU and Level I trauma environment
- Local candidates are accepted with a rate differential for those within 50 miles
- Night shifts offer free onsite parking; day and evening shifts have discounted parking with shuttle service
Requirements
- Current MA RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric ICU experience with ventilator management and inotropy
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- Travel nursing experience required for consideration
