Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 3 years of experience, ARRT-CT certification, and proficiency in EPIC for a high-volume hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based CT scan department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Trauma Level III, teaching facility, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center of Excellence
• 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Weekend rotation details will be discussed during the interview
• No floating to other departments required
• Uses Siemens and GE CT equipment
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Average patient volume discussed during interview
• Orientation ranges from 3 to 5 days depending on modality
• Radiology nursing and transport staff provide departmental support
• Must wear black scrubs
• Facility parking is free
• Teamwork is emphasized in this high-volume, patient-centered environment
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Requests for time off require manager approval

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years CT technologist experience
• Current ARRT-CT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience using EPIC and/or Encompass EMR
• License required if applicable
• Must provide a professional reference dated within one year from a supervisor or charge RN
