Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years experience to provide comprehensive imaging services across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital setting serving inpatient, observation, outpatient, and emergency department patients
- Perform imaging in ED, fluoroscopy, OR (c-arm & o-arm), and portable x-ray settings
- Average of 175 studies per day, with increased volume during weekdays
- Uses Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS
- Equipment includes GE Precision 500D R&F rooms, Shimadzu RadSpeed in the ED, Shimadzu MD8 & Konica mKDR Xpress portables, GE OEC Elite C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm
- 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- On-call up to 2 shifts per month, as needed
- No floating required
- Duties include rotating through all imaging areas including the on-campus rehab facility
- Support provided by Guest Services for inpatient and observation patients
- Department will provide 1 day of administrative onboarding and up to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
- Travelers are required to work 75% of holidays
- Scrub color is black
- Surface lot and parking decks available at no cost
- First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years recent radiology experience
- Proficiency in fluoroscopy, OR, ICU, portable, and emergency department imaging
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
