Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 36-hour day shift position requiring ARRT (CT) certification, GE CT scanner experience preferred, and a Massachusetts CT license.

Responsibilities

• Position is within the hospital radiology department, CT unit
• Work involves performing diagnostic CT procedures and administering IV and oral/GI contrast
• Uses GE CT scanners; experience with this equipment is preferred
• EMR systems in use are Epic and Visage
• Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM with every other weekend required
• Floating or rotating shifts may be required as needed
• Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, maintaining a high level of proficiency, and providing excellent customer service
• Role reports to the CT Manager and Clinical Lead
• Effective communication, organizational skills, and a professional, positive demeanor are expected
• Flu vaccination required without religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Parking may incur additional daily costs at some locations
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from central Boston to qualify for full pay rate

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active Massachusetts state license in computed tomography required; no conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum one year of CT experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency with CT scanning, IV and oral/GI contrast administration, and emergency response
• Ability to document in Epic EMR required
• License required if applicable
