Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a current MA license and Level 1 trauma experience.
Responsibilities
- Hospital Operating Room setting
- Works with inpatient surgical cases, including Level 1 trauma
- 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- 13-week assignment
- Role involves care for high-acuity surgical and trauma patients
- Testing or education modules may be required as part of onboarding
- Monthly parking fees may apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers for this position
- References from other travelers are not accepted
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS certification required and must be active
- Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery and Level 1 trauma experience required
- Competency in at least 5 core surgical service areas required
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude needed
- Must provide two professional references, one of which must be from a manager and include a performance evaluation
- Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B
