Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a current MA license and Level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Works with inpatient surgical cases, including Level 1 trauma
• 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• 13-week assignment
• Role involves care for high-acuity surgical and trauma patients
• Testing or education modules may be required as part of onboarding
• Monthly parking fees may apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers for this position
• References from other travelers are not accepted

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS certification required and must be active
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery and Level 1 trauma experience required
• Competency in at least 5 core surgical service areas required
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude needed
• Must provide two professional references, one of which must be from a manager and include a performance evaluation
• Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B
