Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and BLS for a 13-week assignment at a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care medical center with long term care and outpatient services
• Assignment is 13 weeks with 4x10 hour shifts; exact shift times may vary and include both nights and days
• On-call and weekend call coverage required
• Traveler may float within all facilities in the state and must be willing to cover X-ray as needed
• Serves a mixed patient population in a hospital with 46 acute care and 22 long term care beds
• All charting performed in Epic EMR system
• Local candidates not accepted; candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
• Vehicle and housing are provided for the duration of the assignment, limited to only the traveler
• Pets are not allowed in provided housing units
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• All travelers are required to float between all facilities within the state as needed
• Minimal to no RTO preferred; significant RTO may impact consideration
• Scrub color is flexible, or business casual attire is allowed
• Vehicle must be cleaned and returned with a full tank of gas at end of assignment; additional cleaning fees may apply
• Only the traveler is allowed to operate the provided vehicle

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification and BLS required
• Epic experience required
• Must be able to cover X-ray in addition to CT
• License required if applicable
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required to operate facility vehicle
