Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel position requiring a NH or compact RN license and recent PCU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
- Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Cares for adult progressive care patient population
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring progressive monitoring and intervention
- Adhere to hospital procedures and protocols related to the PCU
- Required to submit US SSN and DOB for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
- Scrub or dress code details will be provided by the facility
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- References required based on state of licensure
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
